The hotel features a unique nautical theme with round boat-style windows, giving it a quirky charm that sets it apart. The rooms provide basic amenities like comfortable beds and good heating, which made for a cozy overnight stay.
Upon arrival, the exterior give off a vibe of neglect, leaving me to wonder if the place was even operational. The rooms have a noticeable lack of thorough cleaning. dust on surfaces and stained curtains really stood out. Connectivity could be a hassle as Wi-Fi wasn't reliable during my stay. no food options were available on-site, making me trek around the area looking for a place to grab a bite, which was less than ideal after a long day.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We visited the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and took a stroll along the River Tyne. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. For guests, it's worth noting that the breakfast was solid, and an inexpensive taxi ride gets you into town easily.
One thing to improve is the low pressure from the shower. It made for a less than ideal experience.

Perfect for a family getaway
The staff were incredibly helpful, especially one named Kash who spent time chatting with us and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was beyond what we expected, a full English spread that hit the spot and set us up for the day.
It wasn't a budget option, but it was still acceptable given what we got.

the hotel had a quirky nautical theme which was kinda cool. The beds were comfy and we had a nice breakfast. staff were super friendly and welcoming when we arrived, made us feel right at home. parking was also easy and free, which was a big win for us! for the price we paid, it was decently adequate for our stay, and we managed to sleep pretty well. overall, it was a cozy nigh for sure!
but honestly, the check-in process was a mess and took forever, and we didn't even get the room we booked. also, the decor was a bit dated and could use some fixing up.

missingWrote a review on 05 Junnautical themeaffordable parkingdecent night's sleepcleanliness issues
The quirky nautical-themed decor gives the hotel a unique charm, making it feel different from the typical stay. Free parking and reliable Wi-Fi proved useful, and the beds provided a decent night's sleep, making it a suitable option for budget travelers.
The cleanliness left quite a bit to be desired, with several reports of dirty bathrooms and unkept common areas lurking around. The rooms themselves are dated, requiring much-needed refurbishments to match even basic expectations. the dining scene is dismal, as there are no on-site restaurant or breakfast facilities. guests are sent to a nearby sister hotel that doesn’t serve breakfast anymore. the experience feels confusing and lacks essential amenities that could have really improved the stay.
